February 28, 2025 Pre-Academy Spring Registration Now Open
Galaxy Soccer Academy is pleased to announce that spring registration for the Pre-Academy program (Ages 6–9) is now open. Limited spots available.
The Pre-Academy program is designed for players aged 6 to 9 who are just beginning their soccer journey. Sessions focus on fun, movement, and foundational ball skills in a supportive team environment. Registration closes once spots are filled — families are encouraged to register early via the Book a Tryout form on our website or by contacting us directly at gsaottawa@gmail.com.

Former GSA player Theo Bair has signed his first professional contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
Galaxy Soccer Academy is incredibly proud to announce that former academy player Theo Bair has signed his first professional contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps of Major League Soccer. Theo joined GSA Ottawa at age 12 and quickly distinguished himself as a technically gifted forward with exceptional positioning. His development through our Competitive Academy program laid the foundation for his progression to the professional ranks. We wish Theo every success and will be cheering him on every step of the way.

CommunityDecember 10, 2024 GSA Ottawa Partners with Local Businesses for Sponsorship Drive
Galaxy Soccer Academy has launched a new sponsorship drive to help provide assistance to players in need across Greater Ottawa.
Building on our community mandate, GSA Ottawa has partnered with several local Ottawa businesses to launch a targeted sponsorship drive. Funds raised will be used to subsidise program fees for players whose families are experiencing financial hardship, ensuring that no talented player is unable to participate due to cost. TournamentNovember 5, 2024 Competitive Academy U12 Team Finishes Top 4 at Regional Cup
The GSA U12 Competitive Academy squad had a remarkable run at the Regional Cup, defeating three top-ranked teams before bowing out in the semi-finals.
The GSA U12 side opened the Regional Cup with consecutive wins over Gloucester Dragons, Nepean Hotspurs, and Kanata FC, showcasing an organised defensive shape and incisive counter-attacking play. A narrow 1-0 semi-final defeat to the tournament favourites ended their run, but the squad returned home with their heads held high. Coaches highlighted the team's communication and work ethic as major improvements from last season, and the squad are already training with the provincial championships in their sights.

Head Coach and Technical Director Mahmut Adulovic has renewed his UEFA International Coaching License.
GSA Ottawa Technical Director Mahmut Adulovic has successfully renewed his UEFA International Coaching License, reaffirming his commitment to delivering world-class youth development to Ottawa's next generation of players. Coach Adulovic completed additional modules in sports psychology and athletic development as part of the renewal process. His continued professional education directly benefits our players through updated training methodologies and an enriched coaching philosophy aligned with elite European standards.
